Andrew ShakmanAndrew Shakman is President, CEO of LeanPath, Inc, where he is responsible for general management and works closely with leaders in foodservice and hospitality. Previously, Andrew was President and CEO of Nine Dots, a consulting firm serving clients including Nestle USA, Quaker Oats, and Dole Food Co. He currently chairs the board of the Software Association of Oregon Foundation and is a Trustee of the Thacher School. Andrew earned his BA at Stanford University and an MFA from the University of Southern California.

Alex has been in the industry for 30 years; he spent 19 years as an inspector with the USDA, and was a member of the original HACCP Alliance. He specializes in meat, fish and poultry.

 

Dr Doug PowellDr. Douglas Powell/span> is an associate professor at Kansas State University. His lab, the International Food Safety Network, seeks innovative ways to compel everyone in the farm-to-fork food safety system -- individual producers, retail employees, and consumers, among others -- to acknowledge and adopt best practices to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.

Coco FreyCoco Frey, founder and principal of Eat the Truth, LLC holds a Bachelors degree from Texas Woman’s University in Food and Nutrition in the Business and Industry and a minor in Entrepreneurship. With almost ten years of experience in the nutrition, natural foods, and supplementation industry; she has worked in a wellness center and a clinical nutrition department of a university hospital.
